A need to speak up to push for change has always resided in me. Art has become my outlet for that.

Artist. Activist. These words feel interchangeable in my head.

Through the strokes of pigment on paper, I find a way to express myself, my anger, and my fear and turn it into something others can understand.  My inspiration comes from the land. The rocks I climb, the waves I surf, and the twisting trails I run are constant companions who spark the natural melody in my pieces. Protecting that source of inspiration feels as crucial as protecting the people who call it home. Learning to live in harmony with the land, listening to the wisdom of people who are native to this land, and fighting for my relatives who face barriers to make it to this land. These are things my art stands for.
